TUNE: Praxis and Allies - Chapter 1

Hey friends -- droppin' some big news this morning. Starting today, I'll be serializing my next story, TUNE: Praxis and Allies, right here at lowbright.com! I'll be adding 2 new panel to the story each and every weekday. You can either follow along panel by panel daily on my livejournal blog feed, or if you'd prefer to wait and read in bigger chunks, you can always bookmark the latest chapter and come back whenever.

Hope you enjoy!

The way you're building suspense with these panels makes me think of the way Handel started Zadok the Priest. It's working. I'm hooked.

I don't think you'd get passed the retina scan, E.

Jeffrey - wow, thanks, I've never had my work compared to an anthem before!

mmm...

I think the sentence on today's strip should read something like: I don't think I had ever had so much trouble opening...

It's a grammar thing.

But I may be wrong and If I am correct I assume an editor will catch that at some point...

Looks to be a great new story. The development in your drawing style is interesting, kinda redolent of ol' Yoshihiro Tatsumi.

Keep it up...

Fabulous! Ha ha, I love his posture when he's taking his slash, so funny! And I'm dying to find out what happens next.

Thanks!

This is great! Beautifully drawn, nice pacing and image progression, my only criticism is maybe the "pope with a condom on" thing. It's a little distracting, It's not a sacred cow issue, just an appropriate metaphor issue. I know you were going for an extreme comparison, but it might be something to reconsider.

I really like the replication of our perspective being focused then zooming out. Nice effect. The twist at the end was cool. I was projecting the typical wake up in some unknown bar hussy's house after binge drinking story - not the case. Very cool.
